Aaron Kaplan is the founder and CEO of Kapital Entertainment.
Kapital Entertainment has established itself as a prolific developer and producer of scripted programming since launching in 2009.

Aaron Kaplan also executive produces the series “Delhi Crime” for Netflix, which recently won an International Emmy Award for Best Drama Series and two Asian Academy Awards for Best Drama Series and Best Original Program by a Streamer (Golden Karavan Productions/Ivanhoe Pictures).
In February 2017, Kapital Entertainment and CBS Corporation announced a strategic partnership. As part of the agreement, CBS Corporation acquired an ownership stake in Kapital and will provide financing for Kapital to invest in its future programming and serve as its worldwide distributor.
Prior to launching Kapital Entertainment, Aaron Kaplan served as the Worldwide Head of Scripted Content at the William Morris Agency. He was also on the Board of Directors.
Aaron Kaplan is a graduate of the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business and a former teacher at the School of Cinematic Arts. To this day, Kaplan remains an active and proud alum. In March 2017, he teamed up with fellow top USC alumni to launch the “First Jobs” program, which provides recent Cinematic Arts graduates their first paid entry-level jobs in the entertainment industry. First Jobs has launched over 200 jobs for USC alumni, of which Kaplan has personally hired 40.
“Launching FIRST JOBS at USC, the #1 ranked school for the study of cinematic arts, makes it possible to identify and support the most qualified and highly trained future leaders, innovators, creators and storytellers,” Kaplan said. He hopes the initiative will encourage successful alumni to give back by cracking open the door for the next generation. “For recent graduates, getting that first paying job is really, really difficult, and we’ve found a way to make it less difficult. Kaplan also works closely with Golden Karavan, a television mini-major with offices in Mumbai and Los Angeles that produces and distributes high-end and provocative Indian-themed episodic content for premium OTT platforms targeting a global audience.
Aaron Kaplan also currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Saban Community Clinic, and serves on the Board of Governors for Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
